This brochure is intended for female applicants for international protection and contains information on the asylum procedure. Other specific themes such as health, equality between men and women, human trafficking,… are also dealt with in detail.

Guide for unaccompanied minors who apply for asylum in Belgium
This guide explains the stages an unaccompanied minor goes through when he/she applies for asylum in Belgium. At the request of the CGRS, the Immigration Office (IO) presents this guide to every unaccompanied minor when his/her asylum application is being registered.
This guide is available in Dutch, French, English, Arab, Tigrinya, Dari, Pashto, Pulaar, Somali and Albanian.

This guide informs children who accompany their parents or guardian, about their right to be heard during the asylum procedure of their parents or guardian in Belgium. In exceptional cases, they can file their own application for international protection (or asylum application).

Charter of the personal interview
This interview charter contains deontological guidelines for the protection officer’s conduct during the interview at the CGRS. It also gives instructions for a correct proceeding of the interview. The aims of this charter is to guarantee the quality of the asylum applicant’s interview.

Annual reports
The office of the Commissioner General for Refugees and Stateless Persons is required by law to report every year on the mission of the CGRS to the competent Minister or State Secretary for the Migration and Asylum Policy.
The annual reports as from 2013 are only available in Dutch and French.
